Product Testing
As the world’s leading authority in sports turf research, STRI offers a range of options for product testing and efficacy trials. We conduct our trials independently and without bias and respect client confidentiality at all times.
We work closely with our clients to understand their objectives to enable us to provide detailed protocol documentation prior to commencing the trials and a comprehensive report which includes methodologies, timings and results on completion of the trials.
Our research management team works with clients, on request, to present trial results at seminars and conferences as well as providing statements for articles and other documentation. All presentations and statements we provide are scientifically accurate and without any bias to a particular product or manufacturer.
Our STRI team develops and manages trials for testing seeds, grasses, construction materials, construction systems, machinery, surface preparation techniques, fertilisers, wetting agents, biological control agents and pesticides. We are recognised as an official Efficacy Testing Facility by the Chemical Regulations Directorate (CRD) and trials are run in accordance with EPPO Guidelines, where required.
We deliver testing for:

Our trials are managed at our extensive research and lab facilities in Bingley and other designated sites, including sports clubs and facilities across Europe.
