The performance and safety of sports pitches is becoming more significant within the industry and the condition of the pitch reflects how your club or school is perceived by both players and audiences. The STRI Research team has developed tools and technologies to enable us to accurately measure how your pitches are performing and assess any improvement needs.
By understanding how your pitch is performing allows you to plan an effective maintenance programme to manage the quality of your pitch and monitor improvements.
The assessment service is managed in three stages:
- Measure - comprehensive set of measurements and data taken across the pitch for:
- Surface hardness
- Surface traction
- Ball speed
- Stud penetration
- Moisture levels
- Rooting depths
- Grass species composition
- Drainage infiltration rates
- Analyse – thorough analysis of data and study of correlation between each set of data
- Report & Recommendations – detailed report with data presented in easy-to-read format, along with recommendations on how to improve the quality of your football pitch and develop playing performance
