Many racecourses and arenas maximise revenues by hosting concerts and other events on their sites, in addition to a full calendar of horse racing, shows or events each year. We provide advice on how best to manage and restore your sports surfaces for these types of events.
STRI works with you in the planning, preparation and post-event stages for your events to minimise damage to your sports surfaces and restore the surfaces back to the required performance and quality levels, often within tight deadlines.
One of our experienced consultants is appointed to oversee the planning required across each stage of your event:
- Pre-event Planning – working with you to develop a detailed action plan with recommendations on what is needed to protect your sports surfaces, along with advice on actions, timings and costs to repair or replace sports surfaces following the event.
- On-site Management – we can provide consultants to be present on-site during the set up and break down stages of your events, to minimise damage to your sports surfaces, rootzone and soil structure.
- Post-event Remediation – combined STRI and client teams work together to restore your course or arena to the required quality and performance; this could involve installation of new surfaces and/or corrective works on your existing surfaces.
Each event we work on is unique and requires a tailored plan and solution to ensure there is minimal damage and disruption, helping you save costs and prevent sporting event cancellations.
