STRI Bowls Team
Our team has the most up-to-date and relevant knowledge of how to develop and manage good quality bowling greens. We have a total team of 75 staff, offering expertise and support to both flat green bowls clubs and crown greens bowls clubs across the UK.
The STRI advisory teams are located in each region to support local clients and our design and support teams are based at our head office in Bingley, West Yorkshire.
We offer skills and experience in the design and management of bowling greens, with expertise in the following areas:
- Knowledgeable sports turf advisory staff, with years of practical experience
- In-house design team, including CAD technicians
- Project management for construction/reconstruction projects
- A2LA accredited lab service for soil testing and pests, weeds and diseases ID
- Bowls green research specialists and world-renowned scientists
- Drainage and irrigation experts
