Our advisors work with hundreds of bowls clubs each year, giving advice on how to improve and maintain the quality of bowling greens. Our team provides practical and relevant advice on the latest products, machinery and techniques you should use to effectively manage your surfaces, along with cost-effective solutions for any problem areas.
We work together with a range of clients, including greenkeepers, club managers, presidents, officers, committees, local authorities and contractors to support their goal of achieving consistently good quality bowling greens. Our advisors provide advice on management of the bowling green and can also tailor their advice to suit your budget and available resources, ensuring long term planning.
Our advisory service is offered at a discounted rate for clients who subscribe to an annual visit or alternatively, you can just call us when you need assistance or have a problem area you wish to rectify.
Annual Bowling Green Assessment
Our annual assessment of your bowling surfaces consists of a visit where we assess the condition, playing qualities and identify any problem areas across the green. We produce a detailed report of your surfaces, along with recommendations on maintenance regimes and how to improve quality.

We offer practical advice and solutions for all turf problems, including:
- Pests, weeds and diseases – ID testing service and recommendations on how to manage these
- Surface trueness, hardness or softness
- Grass species composition and grass coverage
