Emma Beggs BSc (Hons)
Regional Turfgrass Agronomist - North West
Emma Beggs joined STRI following graduation in 1993. She is currently based in the North West of England and carries out agronomic consultancy work for a variety of clients including golf clubs, tennis clubs, schools, football clubs, local authorities etc. Emma has also completed agronomic consultancy work for The Golf Course Committee of The R&A, for The English Golf Union and The Welsh Golf Union.
In addition to agronomic work Emma has carried out numerous construction feasibility reports and surveys for organisations such as The England and Wales Cricket Board, Football Foundation, and The FA. Much of this has been in association with grant funding.
Emma is a keen golfer and plays to a handicap of 13 at Royal Liverpool and Royal St Davids Golf Clubs. She is also a keen photographer and ornithologist.
